Daily NHL Report 6/29/2012

Here are the signings and updates from the NHL for 6/29/12:

Boston Bruins prospect Alexander Khokhlachev has signed with the club, but will still go to KHL for developmental purposes.

Calgary Flames re-sign D Cory Sarich to a 2 year, $4M contract. They also agree with Lee Stempniak on a 2 year deal worth $2.5M per year

Carolina Hurricanes put D Derek Joslin on unconditional waivers to buyout/terminate his contract.

Colorado Avalanche re-sign F Steve Downie to a 2 year deal, $2.55M in first year and $2.75M in second.

Florida Panthers F Mike Santorelli and F Matt Bradley both cleared waivers. Bradley is now expected to be bought out.

Los Angeles Kings G Jonathan Bernier is rumored to have requested a trade.

Minnesota Wild has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with D Chay Genoway

Montreal Canadiens re-sign D Brendan Nash and F Petteri Nokelainen to one year contracts. They also sign Travis Moen to a 4 year contract.

New Jersey Devils G Martin Brodeur is going to test the free agent market. He has not ruled out returning to New Jersey, however. The team has also re-signed e-signed Peter Harrold, Steve Bernier, Stephen Gionta, Cam Janssen, and Ryan Carter.

Vancouver Canucks G Roberto Luongo is expected to be traded to Florida some time soon.
